Where do the boat charters depart from?
Puerto Del Rey in Fajardo, Puerto Rico is the main departure port for our charters. It is the largest luxury marina in the Caribbean located on the east coast of the island and a short distance to your destination islands by boat. Puerto Del Rey is located approximately 45-60 minutes from San Juan by car. We have round-trip ground transportation options availble.
If you charter one of our boats located in San Juan then your departure point will be the San Juan Marina located in San Juan Harbor.
How far away are the island destinations?
Once you make it to Puerto Del Rey in Fajardo the some islands are just a short boat ride away. The popular cayo Icacos and Palomino island are only about 15 mins by boat where as Culebra is around 45, Culebrita and Vieques are approximately an hour.
What Should we bring?
- Boat Clothing such as casual wear, t shirts, swimsuits, rain jackets, comfortable shoes, hats, sunglasses
- Beach Towels
- Sunscreen or Sun Lotion
- Rubber shoes are recommended aboard our yachts
- Snorkeling equipment is included all of our boats, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer
Are your captains licensed?
All our captains are USCG (United States Coast Guard) licensed and part of the Drug Consortium
How far is the drive to the Puerto Del Rey Marina in Fajardo, Puerto Rico?
- From San Juan it takes around 45-60 minutes depending on traffic
- From Rio Grande it takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic
- From Ponce it takes around 90-120 minutes depending on traffic
- From Dorado it takes around 90 minutes depending on traffic
What is the easiest way to get to the Puerto Del Rey?
The easiest way is by car or by air. We offer both car and air transportation to and from Puerto Del Rey.
Are there mooring Fees?
There are no mooring fees in the Spanish Virgin islands. Some may apply for USVI depending on the size of the vessel you select.
Is there Parking inside Puerto Del Rey?
There is plenty of free parking inside all of our marinas with included 24 hour security. Additionally there is overnight parking at no extra charge.
Can I play my own music during the charter?
Yes, all of our boats are Ipod/Iphone/Android and Bluetooth adaptable. All equiped with high-performance speakers.
Is Scuba Diving allowed on boats?
We can arrange some of our vessels for diving trips around the Spanish Virgin Islands.
Are pets allowed on board?
Yes, we are pet friendly. Please be aware they need to have a life vest on at all times to follow the USCG procedures.
Do you provide snorkel equipment/paddle boards?
All our boats include snorkeling equipment and most include paddle boards. Please confirm with your charter specialist at time of booking. Also, feel free to bring your own as well.
What pay methods are accepted?
Most credit cards, paypal, ath movil, cryptocurrency and cash or wire.
How is the weather in Fajardo PR?
We navigate the waters of Puerto Rico’s east coast. In the Caribbean we usually have really good weather, rain filled clouds can come fast and leave fast. Only the captain can cancel a day trip, security is our top priority.
Is this activity kid friendly?
Yes, this is great for kids! Let us know the ages and sizes to make sure we have a life vest for them. If you have your own life vest, bring them with you for a perfect fit.
Do you offer sunset or late evening trips?
Yes, we do, let us know your idea and we will make it happen. Our yachts and captains are capable of navigating at night. In fact, sunsets and night are incredibly beautiful trips. A must do!
Can we celebrate a special occasion on the boat?
Yes indeed, bring on your birthday, anniversaries, romantic getaways with us. We will make it memorable with the Caribbean landscape as our ally.
